I like to reflect; to stop and think and ask myself questions. I wonder often. Some things I’m wondering about these days:
Why we have professional development in education although teachers often experience it neither as development nor especially professional?
What is leadership anyway? In what ways do we as individuals and groups agree how we will (and will not) be led?
What is the correct spelling for the past tense of “to lead”? Is it lead or led? (Here’s Google.)
Every time I read a whole post by Audrey Watters, do I automatically get smarter or just more angry, bewildered, daunted? Or all of the above?
How often have I thought about leadership without writing about it?
What is worth writing?
I suggested to a friend with regards to taking stock of our past thinking and writing that “sometimes it’s good to look back when we look in the mirror.”
Do I know what I meant and mean? I wonder.
